Our Story
Hi, I’m Robert Johns, Director of Paddock to Plate Pet Food along with my partner and local veterinarian Dr Laurelle Bates, we started Paddock to Plate Pet Food out of a desire to improve animal health and welfare.
We wanted to be in control of our cattle’s destiny at the same time improving the health of many pets. We are both locals and love living in the Territory.
Our Mission
Is to feed as many pets as we can with fresh, quality, ethically sourced, sustainable raw foods that is free from preservative, colourings, and additives, and is packaged in a convenient size.

Our food is handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. There are no artificial flavourings, no artificial colourings, no additives, no preservatives and no fillers. Our meat has not been heat treated and we process to human consumption standards.
At Paddock to Plate Pet Food we advocate for humane farming, slaughter and processing of all animals.
Our Core Values
The products we need to purchase from suppliers are all human grade products and all our food is processed to human consumption standards.
We pledge to maintain all our animals to a high husbandry standard and ensure that their welfare is at the forefront of all the decisions we make.
We use only the freshest human grade foods, and all our products are snap frozen within minutes of being processed to ensure all the goodness and freshness is being retained.
We will always be honest with our clients and maintain our strong moral principles in all our dealing with both our customers and suppliers. We promise to put your pets’ nutrition to the forefront of what we are striving to achieve.
We are passionate about reducing our environmental impact on our farm, homestead, and processing facility so everything is run entirely on solar power. Our water is sourced from an artesian bore with a solar powered pump to a storage tank holding facility. All our cattle are treated the highest-welfare standards, are grass feed, free-roaming as well as organic.
Raw pet food is healthier, costs less and has a lower impact on the environment than commercially cooked and processed foods.
